Super Sail is Winnetka Yacht Club's annual invitational regatta. This two day weekend event represents the climax of our racing season. Competitive  one-design class racing combined with a relaxing summer beach party, including food, drinks, and beach sports have earned the Super Sail a reputation as one of the premier events on Southern Lake Michigan.  This is a great opportunity for sailors and families in many racing classes to congregate in a venue away from their home port for an enjoyable weekend of camaraderie and competition. The Super Sail can serve as a regional regatta for any visiting class fleet, by prior arrangement. Separate starts for each class are typically provided. Super Sail has recently been a grand prix regatta for Vanguard 15s, a District Championship for Thistles, a junior regatta for Sunfish, a major qualifying regatta for Lasers, as well as an important invitational regatta for Buccaneers and Penguins.
